Bulk & Corporate Gifting

Most corporate gifts fail in the same way. They are handed over, admired for a minute, and then put in a drawer because nobody knows what to do with them. A gift only works when the person receiving it already has a place for it — and in an Indian home, the mandir shelf, the pooja thali and the table that comes out when guests arrive are three places that always have room.

That is the whole argument for gifting German Silver. It is not a novelty. It is a category of object people already own, already use and already know how to look after, which means it survives the week after the festival. We supply it in volume — for Diwali hampers, client gifts, wedding return gifts, griha pravesh favours and employee milestones — from 25 units upward, with bulk discounts of up to 50%.

How bulk pricing works

Bulk discounts here run on a tier, not a flat rate. They begin at 25 units and improve as the order grows, reaching up to 50% off list price at the top of the range. We are not going to pretend a 25-piece order and a 2,000-piece order get the same number, so it is worth knowing what actually moves it:

  • Quantity. The single biggest lever. Meaningful steps come at 25, 100 and 500 units, and again above that.
  • How many different pieces. One thousand of a single item is cheaper to produce than a hundred each of ten items. If the budget matters more than variety, narrow the selection.
  • Engraving and custom packaging. Logo engraving and branded boxes add cost per unit, but that cost falls quickly with volume.
  • Single or multi-address dispatch. One delivery to your office is cheaper than 300 individual couriers. Both are possible.
  • Lead time. An order placed six weeks out costs less than the same order placed at ten days, because rushed engraving capacity is the expensive kind.

Tell us the quantity, the budget per gift and the occasion, and we will come back with a figure rather than a range. There is no obligation and no minimum enquiry size.

What we handle

  • Logo engraving on trays, dry fruit boxes, thalis and other flat-surfaced pieces
  • Custom packaging with your branding, a printed card and your own message
  • Multi-address dispatch — send one spreadsheet, we ship to every recipient individually
  • Samples before you commit, so the buying committee is holding the object, not a photograph
  • A named account manager from first quote to final delivery, not a shared inbox

Choosing by occasion

The occasion should decide the object, not the other way round. Here is how the range actually splits.

Diwali and festive corporate gifting

Diwali is the one time of year when an Indian business is expected to give, and the one time of year when every gift competes with forty others arriving the same week. Diyas and serving pieces do well because they get used within days of arriving — an elephant diya pair, a peacock tealight holder or a chirag lamp with its plate is lit that evening, not stored.

For a heavier client gift, the seven-piece dry fruit set with its tray and the gold polish twin bowl are the two that get put out when guests arrive, which is exactly where you want your logo to be. Our Diwali corporate gifting guide goes into how to pick by seniority tier and how far ahead to plan.

Griha pravesh and housewarming gifts

A new house has a specific shopping list, and most of it is mandir equipment that nobody remembers to buy for themselves. That makes griha pravesh the easiest occasion to gift well in bulk — builders, interior firms, real estate developers and banks all hand over at possession, and a pooja piece lands far better than a branded diary.

The Om Kalash is the most on-the-nose choice in the good way: the kalash is literally what gets set down and filled on move-in day. The five-piece aarti thali set covers the whole first pooja in one box, and the Shubh Labh door hangings go up on the doorframe the same afternoon. There is more on this in our griha pravesh gift ideas and our guide to setting up a home mandir.

Wedding return gifts and favours

Wedding return gifts have a hard brief: a few hundred units, one budget, and they have to look considered rather than bulk-bought. Small boxed pieces solve this better than large ones, because a modest object in a velvet box reads as a gift while a large cheap object reads as a giveaway.

The leaf sindoor daani with its feather pin and the three-piece pooja bell and sindoor daani set are the two we supply most often for this, along with the Kamdhenu cow and calf for a shagun-style handover. For larger wedding gifting — the pieces that go to close family rather than every guest — the engraved goblets and the engraved tumbler hold their own. Our return gift guide has more on matching quantity to budget.

Employee milestones, onboarding and long service

Milestone gifting has a different problem: it is one person, not a list, and it is supposed to feel personal. This is where engraving earns its cost. A single engraved piece with a date on it is kept; the same piece without the date is not.

The German Silver twin bowl and the Kurma tortoise with its pooja plate both take engraving well and sit at a price point that works for annual recognition at scale.

Temple, trust and community gifting

Trusts, temples and community organisations order pooja pieces in volume for distribution at events, prasad counters and annual functions. These orders are usually single-item, high-quantity and no-engraving, which is precisely the shape that reaches the deepest end of the discount range. The chirag lamp, the Om diya and peacock bell set and the Kurma plate are the usual choices.

Bhai Dooj, Karwa Chauth and family occasions

Smaller family-occasion runs — 25 to 100 pieces for an extended family, a housing society or a mahila mandal — still qualify for volume pricing. Thalis, sindoor daanis and bells are the standard picks here, and the complete pooja thali list explains what belongs on the plate if you are assembling a set rather than buying one.

How many should you order?

A practical rule for corporate gifting: order for the list you will actually send to, then add five per cent. Not fifty. The extras that get ordered "just in case" are the ones still in the store room in March.

For wedding return gifts, order to your confirmed guest count rather than your invite count, and keep a small reserve for the families who turn up unannounced — that is the one occasion where running short is genuinely awkward.

Timelines, and when to place the order

Standard bulk orders ship in 10 to 14 working days from artwork approval. Artwork approval, not order date — if your logo file takes a week to come back from the brand team, that week is on top.

Diwali orders close three weeks before the festival. Engraving capacity across the industry fills up in the six weeks before Diwali, and there is no polite way around it. If Diwali gifting is on your calendar, the sensible time to start the conversation is late monsoon, not the week of the festival.

Wedding orders are easier, because the date is known months ahead. Griha pravesh is the hardest, because possession dates move — if you are gifting at handover, tell us the likely window and we will hold stock rather than make you re-order.

What German Silver actually is

Worth saying plainly, because it is the question a recipient eventually asks. German Silver is an alloy of copper, nickel and zinc. There is no silver in it — the name describes the colour, not the content. It is not electroplated silver, it is not sterling, and it is not sold as either.

That is a feature for gifting rather than a drawback. It means the piece can be handled, used and lit without anyone worrying about the value of it, and it means a two-hundred-piece order does not carry the insurance and hallmarking complications that real silver would. It tarnishes slowly like any copper alloy, and a dry cotton cloth brings the shine back. Common questions

What is the minimum order for bulk pricing?

25 units. Below that, our standard retail pricing applies and you are welcome to simply order from the site.

Can we mix different products in one bulk order?

Yes, and most orders do. The discount is calculated on the total order rather than per line, so a mixed hamper of three different pieces still counts every unit toward the tier.

Do you engrave logos, and on which pieces?

Yes — on trays, thalis, dry fruit boxes and other pieces with a flat area large enough to take it. Heavily chased surfaces and small curved pieces do not engrave cleanly, and we will tell you which is which rather than take the order and disappoint you.

Can you ship to individual employee or client addresses?

Yes. Send one spreadsheet with names, addresses and phone numbers, and each gift goes out separately. There is a per-shipment cost, which we will show you as a separate line in the quote rather than bury it.

Can we see a sample first?

Yes, and you should. We would rather send a sample and lose the order than ship 500 pieces to someone who expected something else.

Do you supply GST invoices?

Yes. All bulk orders are invoiced with GST for input credit.
