Is German Silver actually silver?
No, and that is the point. German Silver is an alloy of copper, nickel and zinc. It looks like silver, resists tarnish better than sterling, and costs a fraction as much. It has been used in Indian homes for generations for exactly this reason.
Will it turn black?
Not the way sterling does. Stored dry and wiped after use, it holds its shine for years. If it does dull after long storage, any standard metal polish brings it back in minutes.
Is it safe for food and pooja?
Yes. Our pieces are food safe and non-reactive for serving prasad, kheer, dry fruit and everything else. For overnight storage of very acidic foods, use glass or steel instead.
Does it come gift-wrapped?
Every piece ships in its own velvet presentation box, so it is ready to hand over as it is. We do not currently offer additional gift wrapping or gift notes.
Do you do engraving?
On bulk and corporate orders, yes — from 25 units. Request a quote here. Engraved pieces are not returnable.
