Look at the two glasses side by side and the pattern lands slightly differently on each — that is a chisel, not a roller.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe stem flares into the bowl in a single sweep rather than meeting it at a joint, and the foot is weighted, which is what stops a tall glass like this being top-heavy when it is full.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch3\u003eWhat the metal actually is\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eGerman Silver\u003c\/strong\u003e — an alloy of copper, nickel and zinc. There is no silver in it.
